This first group of three images is titled "The Exchange of The Money Counter." The first figure (left to right) is the viewer, or audience. He enjoys being entertained by, and pines for The Counter, reaching his hand forward to perhaps receive a crisp Benjamin. The second figure is The Money Counter, a demonic figure, holder of many racks. The final figure is the Hype Man, the yes-man, someone who endorses or supports without criticism. Here we see the true exchange of The Money Counter, that of ideas and influence.
I approached this subject matter by first collecting an archive of publicly available images found on the Instagram accounts of different musicians and entertainers. I compiled the digital collage in Adobe Photoshop.
